makanan rohani dah byk. mesti iman saya kuat kan?

assalamualaikum..

adakah dengan menghadiri usrah setiap minggu, 
menonton video dari speaker islamic yg mantap saban hari, 
dan membaca kitab agama yg tebal 
then sharing sikit2 through status fb,
and karang2 sikit di laman blog,
sudah membuatkan iman kita tebal dan kebal?
cukup ke untuk kita declare to the world (or even to our ownselves)
ho yeay, saya sudah faham islam!

terpanggil untuk berkongsi tentang satu pengisian yg saya dapat di Sheffield sewaktu mula-mula sampai di UK.

Understanding Islam requires 2 things:
-formal education
-stimulation

Apa yang saya faham from the sharing is, 

to understand Islam,we firstly need to be educated formally atau istilah mudahnya disuap ilmu through lecture, usrah, reading books, watching videos, or many other methods that are available nowadays. Because ini akan equip kita dengan clear pictures on what Islam is all about, who Allah is to us and what He wants from us. Clear pictures without having to read between the lines, most of the times. (Kalau tak berapa nak clear picture, sila lah tanya pada yang pakar sampai picture itu clear, okay :D )

And the process wouldn't stop there. This is when we should read between the lines. It's called as stimulation, folks!

Allah akan bagi stimulation itu. 
Kerja kita adalah utk melepasi stimulation itu.
Kadang2, stimulation-stimulation ni Allah akan bagi sangat obvious, 
but kadang2 agak implicit juga, sampai kita tak sedar kita sedang diuji. 
But sadly enough, bila dah obvious pun, banyak kali juga kita tersungkur. 

Do men think that they will be left alone on saying, "We believe", and that they will not be tested? (Al-Ankabut 29:2)

Hanya dengan melepasi chekpoint stimulation atau ujian, baru lah kita boleh melepasi satu station in understanding Islam. 
Melepasi satu station untuk ke station-station seterusnya yang sesungguhnya endless utk dikira jari. Yup, mmg endless. 
Melepasi ujian ini menandakan ilmu yang dipelajari kini sudah mampu diamal.

Sbg contoh, belajar tentang menahan amarah hanya menjadi amal bilamana saya mampu menahan marah bila ada yang mencabar sabar saya. Selagimana tiada yang mencabar kemarahan saya, saya belum layak untuk mengatakan saya mampu menahan marah, biarpun sepanjang masa saya tampak tenang. pendek kata, ujian yg Allah bagi kasi chance utk kita tunjuk skills. hehs :D

So, adanya formal education tapi gagal dalam stimulation is like "banyak ilmu, tp tak beramal" while going through stimulation without the formal education is likely to make us failed in the stimulation, or if we do passed, we might fail to see the right silver lining (hikmah).

• mahu lebih bjimat. no more food at cafe (mahal la nana..let it be that u'll get thinner...kalu nak makan puas2, kat rumah oke?)
• after lunch, nk wat hmwork kat class. jgn balik bilik dlu (if not, anda hanya akn tidur & h/w will be left unsettled). ok, nana? this is an order! go back to yr room at 5pm. and straight to tv room for news update moment.
• no outing. unless u really really have to.
• every sunday 9pm is time for kurung ironing. no more ironing in the morning!
• sleep at 11 pm and wake up at 4.30am

and the whole conversation takes place with him promoting a perfume-geogio armani and the ralph lauren perfume .

PM: so do u have any idea how much we can sell u this on this special promotion?

me: well, no.

PM: well, dont shout because sblm ni ramai yg jerit. but we can sell u not hundred, not even reach rm50. but only rm49.90 **muka pnuh pengharapan utk tgk aku terkejut

me:for real?? **muka pura2 terkejut.

dear promoters in Malaysia, please dont promote year end sale or what ever girl-related-craze to me. im so not into those things.

yeahhh!!. we won the pantun competition in minggu bahasa kebangsaan ipma in bndar penawar. alhamdulillah, praise to Allah. the prep was short yeah, but despite all the keep-flying-and-replicating butterflies in our stomach since the very eve of the event, we managed to be the champ. alhamdulillah. amar was the best pemantun in saringan and final round, adibah in quarter final, and me in semi final. never forget Nadia. u embrace us all with ur smile and support girl! n teachers of course!! . without anyone of us, its none of a team of champ. :)
p/s::  dont wanna recall 1st n 2nd round . my performance sucked! "hamba sahaya indah berseri, bla, bla, bla.." pergh, how can hamba sahaya be indah berseri. lolxx :s

but i like the final round though. haha. there's one of the pemantun of kuala nerang among the audience who ask us bout wearing baju semalam n whether there is body odour!


n congrates n much of thank u to my beloved m10L classmates as well. first it was the choral speaking that we won first place, now it's the multimedia competition that we title the "champion". love u guys.

waa. raya dah dekat. dah plan ngan mak nk wat kepak madu barbeque (+ tonggeng ayam.. disgusted? rugi2. tonggeng ayam deserves triple thumbs up!)...will raya at rompin, N9 then off to kerdau, tmerloh, pahang. HAPPY EID MUBARAK to family & friends. sorry ats sume silap salah aku. fyi, ak bkn la org yg pndi nk jaga hati org (esp this year. ntah knape mkin x sensitive towards others. p/s:: first time try wat biskut raya. bskut arab mnjd bskut yg sgt hodoh n ....rasa? xyah ckp r. y? coz ak terlupa apa mksud AYAK. ak ingtkan ayak tuuh gaul ngan air, rupenye tapis tepus. adoy! tp malam tuh, wat lg skali, sedap dowh! ahaha. masuk kaki, angkat bakul !

austere yet superb reUnion.mid valley witnessed it all

i have been thinking of posting this post ever since we started to board the train home. best. aha, thats the word. coz we kept laughing all day long. thanks to funny a.lutfi, a.afif the birthday boy, a. azrul who i never thought is friendly and cool as that, sweet k.sharifah, k.farah (so comforting la this unni), and a.bob (lol, they gossiped me with this bro *get blushing for 3 seconds* .. ahaha. first the activity was searching in the crowd. hhaha.. ya lar. coz i went all craze searching them. we met at centre court. then, we headed for the cinema, yet stunned by the immense crowd and the loooong queue up there, we just knew that movie-watching would be a no-no. next, shooting the breeze at a mamak restaurant at Garden!! ordered drinks, then we introduced ourselves with i-bet-u-know-how-full-with-ridiculous-cum-jokey-questions Q&A session. now, the always cepu perak question- wats yr status?  !! ahaha. now k.sharifah seemed to be nervous to answer, k.farah and i gave "single", a.azrul said "menduda" ,  lutfi sunbae said he's single but not available, and a.afif answered "double"!! haha. klaka je time tu.then, soklan2 yang so futuristic pon dtg. kahwin bile, mas kahwin brape, baju kahwin warna apa, bila plg lewat kahwin' n much much more cracking up questions. aha, n bila soklan pasl mahar kahwin tu muncul, abg lutfi pon mnegakkan hujah pasl mas kahwin tak patut tinggi sgt and tak perlu la kita ikot sgt adat. a.azrul pon bagitaw pasl adat kahwin mlayu and the whole atmosphere mcm tgh berdebat kot.haha..and they even psyco me about taking medic. aha. and this was what a.lutfi added bout kmb::

after lunch in the mamak's restaurant, we went to secret recipe, there we celebrated a.afif's birthday in advance. wakaka. a.afif terkejut kot time tu. ohoho. sdp cake, too bad im not a cake big fan, but i did pack slices of cakes home :p here, we met a.bob. im amazed by his fluent kelantan accent, thought ke's a kelantanese! and a.azrul plak cam org KL!

okey, so to cut it short, all of us (except a.bob) at 4.30pm boarded train home. (another train edu for me :) )

waaa...cant wait for 22.6 to come. gumbira gula gula to get to kolej mara banting <3 ...haha. its like going for standard 1 back after extremely-indulged 6 months of hols!!! xsbr je lebih tp borang yg kena hantar semula kat mara tanda terima tawaran pun x fax lg... argghh *my big mouth yawning ..

yeay. i have my braces now. its pink so to speak. very obvious (though i only have braces for bottom-line teeeeh. its great and is all bout "alah bisa tegal biasa" with the new change in me till the very next 23 hours when i had my lunch and one of the braces "patery" at my last gigi graham got detached. is it my food that is too hard OR.....gov's braces that is toooooo low-in-quality.?THINK. but the low quality is logic lar to think of the price. when the economic mind thinks, the price beats the rest. RM 700 mehh compared to the thousandsss one needs to pay to private clinic for ortho purpose. tape2, yg penting murah ;DDD

haha..yesterday was a-bloody-mouth day for me... not that i became a canibal or something lol.. ;) i went for a mouth operation. there's a tooth of mine which didnt "popped out" till now that i have to remove it by surgery ( o my Allah, it hid at my lelangit u noe!!).. what most painful was at the very moment the Dr injected me the anesthetic.. uh, my whole body was like jerking that time...4 injections mehh~ besides removing that "hidden" one, i also had normal removal of my other two teeth.. haha.. 3 teeth removed in one day is a big loss heh? but it'll be paid with something i have been dreaming for since the past two years...- I GONNA HAVE BRACES ON 26TH MAY!! but looks like i cant smile wide till 26th May..haha.. cz i da rongak ;p nadia ismadi, seha shawal, n syafiq kamal azmi, ill be joining your club except that u guys have been alumni =)
