" I wanna be a doctor for one year and then, a pilot forever. okay, maybe not forever coz i ll die one day. I will become become pilot together with my best friend, san jin. he'll fly the plane in the morning and and ill fly it off at noon "..
I am not focusing on the friendship-loyalty he has, but the ambition fact.
Just think of the present world we are living in- World where a Common chooses what he or she wanna be after completing studies. it tends to be AN ambition rather than more of it.It's all too structured and not flexible, don't you think?
I cant help to envy those people in the past, when Leonardo da Vincci was not merely an artist, but as multi-talented as he is as an Italian polymath:, sculptor, architect, musician, scientist, mathematician, engineer, inventor, anatomist, geologist, cartographer, botanist and writer. wohh, barely listing his jobs up there made my heart bleeding of jealousy.
Take a look at Sir Francis Bacon:English philosopher, statesman, scientist, lawyer, jurist and author. A philosopher and a scientist would be two jobs considered as very different from each other nowadays but then in the past, one person stands as both.
Of course, not to be left unstated is Ibnu Sina or whom the English called as Avicenna who was a polymath of Persian origin and the foremost physician and philosopher of his time. He was also an astronomer, chemist, geologist, Hafiz, Islamic psychologist, Islamic scholar,Islamic theologian, logician, paleontologist, mathematician, Maktab teacher, physicist, poet, and scientist.
Now, this is what we called
as real modal insan!
