Al Lateef

Allah is Al-Lateef (soft and subtle),
the way He's showing His love can be subtle.
It can be in what deemed coincidence.
It might be in what seemed acquaintances.

It can be in the hardship of looking which makes us more persistence.
It can be in tiring wait which makes us more patient.
It can be in the peace of heart.
It can be in the form of company.
It can be in the rays of sunshine.
Or the rarity of aurora.

Sometimes He makes us feel like we are alone to say "Hey, I'm here",
Sometimes He grant our wishes immediately after we ask just to tell us "See, I do listen"
Sometimes He makes us lose someone or something, just to teach us to appreciate, cause you know what we are his servants, Him-the Most Appreciative.

Allah has, beautiful names,
and through many things in our life, although we can never be perfect because it is only Him who is perfect, He is moulding us to have those attributes too.

Ar-Rahman wants us to be an abidurrahman.
Al-Lateef wants us to be abidullateef.

I strongly believe that this life is a journey in which Allah is moulding us to be a servant of His.
And Al-Lateef does that all in subtlety.

------------------------------------------
To my sister in New Zealand.
Allah is showing His Love.
It's Him being subtle.
Feel the love.
Stay strong.

Aurora and the Snow

Blow blow
Ashing flames say
Fading is the glow
Yet may the warmth stay.
Nana  |Rena, Norway | 241216

Thank you Allah for sending me those beautiful souls as company.

And those lovely auroras and breathtaking snowy peaks of mountains.
How can I not love the train ride?
And how can I not fall in love with You over and over again.

Next stop.
Another "aurora"

Aleppo

Malah bukan nyawa sendiri sahaja. It's the lives of their wives and kids too.

Why do you have to live a self-centred life.

Argh.
Stop being selfish.

and Aleppo.
Yang butuh itu sebenarnya aku.
Jiwa kosong tak macam kalian.

The Date and the Delay

What might work to refresh a worn-out heart is to hear about the sahabah.
In the War of Badr, a sahabah (Umayr bin Al-Humam) was about to eat a date. Upon hearing about the paradise, he did not continue eating the date and quickly jumped into the battlefield. Sahabah, they are scared to even let a small date delay their journey to Allah and His paradise.

And dear girl, just how many dates you are having?

Draw

"Draw what can be found"
and just why.

. . .

see blue as blue.
no red being the thread
show clue in perfect hue
and oh,
dim the dread?

. . .

can you paint a shine?
and frame those kind.

can you tune a chime?
and sing those rhymes.

. . .

fly dear heart.
fly.

Secrets

"Why are you keeping secrets?"

"By default, things are secrets"

"Disagreed"

"Which one is default, silence or noise?"

"If all things are silent by default, there is no such thing as an awkward silence. Some things are meant to be voiced out"

you're one of that few, mate.

The Fuel

Relationship with Allah is a relationship that transcends many boundaries. Including ego.
A relationship that fuels other relationships.

With certain people, we wish not to be seen as vulnerable. We hide our weaknesses and we do all we can to show that we are fine.
I feel this especially with my siblings.
There is a need to show them a good standard.
A responsibility to set them the benchmark.
A wish to teach them the meaning of life (yet they actually have taught me more).
And somehow it becomes a perfect motivation to keep me going.
And a perfect reason why I need to man up and not to appear weak. Ego ey?
(Hi Ain, Haziq, Azim lalala, I'm writing this cause you don't know my blog)

I think everyone has those people whom they wish to live up to their expectation if not to exceed,
those special people whom they care so much that they want to give and don't mind not receiving,
those someones whom they'd like to protect within their capacity of a human being.
those people who seboleh-bolehnya we'd like to appear perfect.
Be it a parent to a child, a child to a parent, a husband to a wife, an older sibling to the younger, et cetera.

It is beautiful. It is a fitrah that leads to sacrifice and is a manifestation of love. It is what leads to the chain of human inter-dependence. What leads to roles.

But.
We are human beings. We know we are not perfect. We are vulnerable and fragile. Sometimes, we just want to lie on the bed and do nothing. Sometimes, we just want to sigh or cry. Sometimes, we need comfort and not further challenges. Sometimes we are slacking just because we are human being, and slacking is our middle name.
But we still want to appear fine and continue being that ideal person who inspires and protects within human limit, so how?

This is my take.
That's fine.
Be as idealistic.
Inspire when you must.
Hide your vulnerability.
Step out of your room and poof! be awesome.
No, salah, be useful. You don't live to become awesome for yourself.

But
But be yourself with Allah.
Pour your heart out.
Show that fragile side of you to Him.
Tell Him all your worries, Na.
Because He is a good listener.
And guess what, He doesn't just listen.
He'll help you not to be vulnerable.
and there! you can continue being that person who serves others for the sake of Allah.

The fuel comes from Him can't you see, Nana? Because you are an Abid. And He can give you the fuel to become the Khalifah.

Ps: But I've learned for the past few years, that my siblings don't mind my vulnerability. People whom you care about cares about you too. Actually, no one is asking you to be perfect, Na. Masalah anak muda zaman sekarang barangkali.

Potpuri

SO last night I decided to shop a room fragrance with this scent of what they put as "mulled spice".
I thought "hmm, tak pernah beli yang ni, let's try".

This morning,
Sarah came in and asked, "are you okay?"

"Yea, I'm good alhamdulillah."

"Are you sure? I'm smelling minyak angin here"

Haha. Great. I'm so not gonna buy any spice related fragrance no more.
For the first time,
I'm wishing "dear heat and breeze, finish this fragrance diffuser quick!"

On a sweeter note,
See how caring my housemate is?
😉

Da'il Ayyam

A beautiful poem by Imam Syafie.

When someone dedicate a meaningful song/poem one morning without even knowing how the heart is feeling yet it nails, you cannot not  looking up and says
"Allah, you never stop caring!"

Mr Hyde

When our emotions are stirred up or when we are in exhaustion,
the things we say
the decision we make
the act we resort to
can be scary.

It makes me scared and sad to think:
"Could it be that that person is what you actually are?
Hiding behind facade of Dr Jekyll.
Waiting to show itself when self control loosens up.
That moment when it's obvious how harsh and selfish you can turn out to be.

Dear Mr Hyde,
Don't just hide.
Please be gone for good.

Oh Allah.
Grant us guidance and blessing in managing this life
Including managing ourselves.
For we are truly a weak slave
And You are ever the almighty.

Legasi

Kadang senyap dan ghaib itu tenang,
senyap takkan makin sayup
ghaib takkan makin hilang.

mungkin itu impi ibu Isa,

dari mencipta racun legasi,
biar hilang tanpa kesan.
tapi Tuhan tak kasi?
disuruh goncang pohon ihsan.

kalau hilang tanpa kesan,

bukan tiada benci sang insan?
kalau dari awal tiada endah,
bukan tiada mengalun gundah?

tapi prinsip hidup,

bukan untuk lari
bukan untuk hilang.

prinsip hidup, kawan,

untuk kau belajar sudi,
untuk kau harap lagi.

------------------------------------------

Allah is always there for you.

Never lose hope! :)

Left Leicester at 3am in the morning and watched sunrise at the beach in Skegness today.

Glad to see you back, Mr Ocean.
Last time we met in Brighton, I believe?
But too many people spoiled the view back then ey ?
How do you feel seeing the sun rise and set across your horizon every day?
And how do you feel meeting me at dawn today?

:)

Duterte

I'm finding Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte a very interesting figure.

Bold.
Unstoppable.

I think he'll leave big legacy.

Diabetic rangers

Do you know what made my day in the clinic?

When you see a small polite 5-year old child who is so strong and matured, so well adapted to his diabetes type 1 treatment, i.e daily insulin injection and daily sugar checking, yet level of sugar still slightly unsatisfactory. When doctor gave a certain level of HbA1c for him to achieve, he and his mum looked at each other, and mum said
"We have done this before, haven't we? We can do this!"

They had fists bump and determined to make it a team's goal.
BLESS YOU!

[Credit]

By the way, you said glucose finger prick and imagined it as easy. Try imagine having to do it on your fingers at least 3 times a day every single day for glucose monitoring. Kudos to all diabetic type 1 sweeties out there.

You guys are my power rangers.

Scars

"The marks human leave are too often scars"

Quoted

Well done

Well done Nana.

Impression

I truly believe that others' impression towards us are part of His delicate arrangement. Pernah jumpa tak anyone yang depan dia you always happen to dress smartly or say the right thing or crack the right joke, give the wisest opinion or do whatever that fishes good impression. The opposite happens too.

Ketahuilah kelemahan kita belum hilang,
Cuma Allah yang Maha Baik tolong sorokkan.

Kalau buruk kita tersingkap buka,

Quran

Allah's Messenger was already a human right activist [research Hilf ul Fudul - the Pact of Benefit].
This is proven through the statement of Khadija, who said to him; you help the orphan, oppressed, needy etc.
Allah's Messenger would wish that he could get rid of humanity's problems, because no matter how much he tried to support the oppressed - the corruption in society only increased.
So Allah gave him a message which would provide a perfect guidance as a connection between Allah and His slave, and the perfect guidance between man and society.
Rasulullah s.a.w had hardly any political power because he was an orphan, and his own uncles were his worst opponents, so even his powerful tribe could not support his message. All he was in the sight of people is that he is an honest businessman. So Allah tells him; Read with the Name of your Master. So the people know that you are not saying they are your own words.

Listen

I think I've just learned one of the biggest lessons in my life.

When someone dear to you tell you their problem, most of the time they don't need you to tell them the solutions.
They just need you to listen and care.

I'm sorry. I do care, but I showed it wrongly.

Michelle

Setting: Paediatric urology clinic.

Dr G: Basically mum, Michelle needs to go to toilet every 2-3 hours. It is normal for kids of his age to refrain from going to the toilet either because they are lazy or they are busy doing something else, hence ends up wetting himself.

Michelle: But. But. In my class, doctor, there are only 4 toilets. And one even got an X on the door. X means no one gets to go in.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Dr G: Make sure he drinks regularly during the day. Just pour him water in the glass during dinner and make sure he finishes it. And then no more drinking after dinner before bed.

Michelle: I don't drink in glasses. I normally drink from a bottle.

Dr G: Okay, honey, doesn't matter. You can drink from your bottle okay.

Michelle: (thinking hard look) awwh, but I've actually lost my bottle.

Mum: I've actually found it, don't worry.

Michelle: (muka bahagia) oooohhh, you've found it! Where did you find it?

Eeyy. Michelle, why you so cute.

Stick

It is so easy to forget and to lose your own principles.
Be cautious. And if you ever slipped, never think that there is no chance of standing up and be bold again for what you once hold on to. If you ever deviate, never think that there is no turning back.

Stick to your own principles.
And above all, stick to what Allah pleases with.
Stick. It's worth it.

The journey to God begins with the 'self':
we have to work on ourselves, our gaze, our desires, and our intentions.

We lose ourselves to temptations so easily.
But we too have the potential to be stronger and stricter with our own self.

And
Make doa.
Because
La hawla wala quwwata illa billah

No ifs ands or buts,
We shall live as how He writes.

Life rolls.
Life bounces.
In any or in all,
We own no ounces.

Is of little words.

Lacking attention.
Whilst he longs for a chance to give,
The breathes flee he did not see.

Decide.

One coin with two sides
Many points one can't decide.
Head tail, toss and see,
Leave her trail, so she can be.

The standards

"The standard you walk past is the standard you accept."

Read that quote in the neonatal ward this morning. Quoted on a poster encouraging people to act upon misdoings they happen to witness.

Deep, strong quote.

Ask

It is actually really easy to misunderstand, and to jump into conclusion.
Ask and seek clarification.

I believe that most people have good intention.
And many people do not like to lie.

Even if that person gives conflicting statements, ask "I thought you said this last time?".
Cause you might have misunderstood the first statement in the first instance.

Even if you claim to see things with your own eyes, ask regardless.
Sure, they say seeing is believing.
But being human, "believing is seeing" too.

Ask.
Just ask.

Investing in Relationship

Was checking one of my favourite blogs for her brownies recipe and found a very sweet sharing by the author on building community and her childhood experience  :)

Full blogpost:
http://weekofmenus.blogspot.co.uk/2016/09/brownies-having-community.html?m=1

Here's a snippet:

But I'll give the much credit to one man, one of my father's friends who probably was the greatest engineer of this amazing community of my childhood.  Dr. S planted his roots first in California with his family, and when he saw the opportunities here - he told all of his Korean medical school buddies to come join him.  All of the families had been scattered in various locations in the US, my own family in Illinois, and he encouraged his friends to come West.  I have no idea what the conversation was like, but knowing him, I know that he was warm, inviting, and persuasive.  And he knew what he wanted and he wanted his friends to feel success and he wanted his friends nearby.

I'm certain that it is Dr. S's efforts those 40 plus years ago that have paved the way for my parents' rich and full lives in retirement.  My dad still calls up his friends, they have a standing regular weekly golf game, and I think, because of technology, they even text each other. When they gather (which they do still often) there is the familiar banter and joy of many years of knowing one another.  They have seen each other through hard times, gone to the weddings of their friends' children, and rejoiced together at the births of grandchildren.

And more than anything, this experience has taught me the importance of investing in those relationships that will take you to your later years.  Being gracious, kind, loving, community minded, or dare I say "Village" minded ultimately is an investment in the graciousness and fullness of your later life.  Valuing human relationships - the way you treat others and those around you profoundly affects not only you, but also your children and the relationships they build.  If they see you building your community, they will also want their own.  If they see you treating your friends as treasures - as people that you wish to surround yourself with and grow old with, they will also want the same - and that, I think is one important value that parents can teach their children.

Ahahaa. That's quite a long snippet. Anyway I'm inspired.💪🏻
We can all be Dr S!

Patients and Perception

A lot of patients nowadays come in with presenting complaints which are functional in nature, or rather psychological. Not that they are mengada-ngada, no.

Dr Stewart in clinic today said that it is mainly due to people's perception nowadays that is, unless we are free of any symptom, there is something wrong with us somewhere . Back in the old days, people don't bother much if they have slight pain or discomfort, now people concern about everything. Well, that is good in a way because that just shows how people are more health-conscious. Downsides to that of course, are the time and financial costs which come with that plus the unnecessary anxiety.

Dr Stewart told me how most of the times, our roles as a doctors are not to treat physical conditions but to treat people's perception. No wonder he talks to the patients so kindly and never complains. And it makes perfect sense. These patients are worried for real (okay fine, some maybe are pretentious but let's not talk about those minority). What you got to do is to investigate if there is indication for that, treat if needed, and if not reassure them sensibly.

I asked him if the free healthcare by NHS nurtures this whole any-problem-see-the-doctor behaviour. He said, yes, that plus the availability of the private healthcare too. When patients are not satisfied with how they are treated  under the NHS, those who can afford go see the private services and pay for endless investigation until someone find something or someone said what they want to hear. It's really bad for the patients. They have really thick medical files, spend so much money and can't enjoy their lives as much as they'd like to. Oh dear, a heart with endless worry surely is a big test, innit?

I feel like I'm so insensitive towards people's feelings. And selfish too.
I'm sorry. Didn't mean to hurt any heart in any way.
Working on myself, people.

Live to give

I think many people would agree that Syed Azmi has been inspirational as a humanitarian/volunteering figure.

I envy at how he helps so many people. To think what is right, and to do what he thinks he can do at his best. Not to think for too long. Focus on solutions and not just the problems. Focus on his capacity and others' capacity which he can recruit now. As in now. He couldn't care less about bureaucracy. Paper work is not his thing. He does what he thinks can help.

And most importantly, he helps those most fragile. The kids on pedophile cases. The gelandangan people. Promoted inter-religion programmes. Not forgetting, the free market efforts. He did things yang most of us know pun are good, but we stopped at knowing. And the programmes are not geniusly new or out of the world. Simple actions, but important remedies to problems. Little by little, it helps. And with his influence now to Malaysians, alhamdulillah the effects are surely not little.

Sure he's not perfect in his actions/causes but he makes Malaysians see how helping people is about knowing what you want to help on, and just do it. Just do it. Membuat kebajikan is easy.

You're not the only one,
But you're still one.
You cannot do everything,
But you can do something.

In my journey from being an idealist to a realist, you're a great source of inspiration, brother.
Also envy at few other individuals I'm blessed to know, whose life is dedicated at giving. How can you all be so noble. It all starts with an intention. Go for it :)

Jewels

When we are pushed to the limit.

Wan kerdau kata
- fikir banyak-banyak sebelum bercakap. Perkataan baik manusia akan ingat. Tapi perkataan buruk, mereka ingat lebih lama.

Mak kata
Experience je and belajar.
- lepas saya mengadu takut nak jadi doktor sebab i'm so slow and ask her if she thinks i am, mak kata "nana ni organized orangnya, sebab tu nana ambil masa buat benda". Oh maa, you said it too kindly.

Anyway tengah cuti.
Banyak masa.
Ye ke.

Us

Teach us that's fine,
For we too want to learn.
But do watch for the line,
Ask not what not earned.

Try sometimes,
our shoes.
Tight or loose they may be.
Rest once from le comfy.

See sometimes,
through our shades.
Dim or dark they could seem.
See once with mere beams.

If you can't make things better,
don't make it any bitter.
You despise what seem like a condition,
you forgot it's a repercussion.

" Some who newly convert find it very hard as they are following their old habit sometimes. They find it very hard. But those who try and know what's the taste of iman like, they will follow it (the religion) insya Allah"

Ramadhan in Leicester

My favourite love verse is Ayatul Qursi. Sejak dulu lagi, sebelum saya mula belajar tafseer Quran lagi. Waktu kecil-kecil, surah apa lah sangat yang tahu. Ayat Kursi ni antara ayat yang kena hafal time sekolah rasanya. Tapi seawal itu lagi, makna nya dah memikat hati.

This verse gives so much sense of security and comfort to me.
Especially that part when Allah says
"He knows what appears in front of and behind His creatures"
Best sangat!!
Rasa sangat protected,
Bila saya keliru,
Bila saya tak tahu,
Saya tahu Dia tahu.

:)

Oh, and Ramadhan is hereee.
I really enjoy this Ramadhan.
Loving the 19 hours fasting which help me not think of food, something I tend to think alot about.
Hari tu pergi talk di City Retreat Leicester,
Syeikh tu kata Ramadhan is the time when we distance ourself from the main things we perceived as what sustain us.
Food which sustain our energy
Intimate relationship which sustain human generation.

Ramadhan lets us focus on things which sustain our spiritual side.
How priceless it is
Buka puasa dengan orang tersayang lepas seharian menahan lapar,
Alhamdulillah rezeki makan melimpah ruah
By the way, elakkan membazir please,
Kalau makanan semalam banyak lagi,
panaskan and habiskan please.
Tak yah masak baru pun takpe.

And sangat best kalau kita boleh lebih hayati makna terawikh kali ni,
Teraweeh berasal daripada perkataan raha yang bermaksud to take a rest,
So sepatutnya waktu teraweeh tu, kita hayati betul-betul,
Jadikan ia sebagai station rehat kita,
rehat daripada kesibukan urusan lain,
dan berehat dengan berborak dengan Allah.
And by the way, I'm so blessed to have housemates who memorise lots of surah.
So inspired by them.

Hee. Teringat haritu ajar anak-anak akak postgrad pasal Ramadhan dengan my lovelies,
waktu tanya depa

"What do we do in Ramadhan?"
Cute boy Syahmi beriya angkat tangan nak jawab.
"We do tarawina".
You cute little boy! Tarawina pun boleh.

Ni theme song kem ihya Ramadhan yang nyanyi setiap sabtu dengan my cute boys and girls. Aunty Nana loves you all soo much. Moga jadi mukmin soleh solehah and musleh!

As-Shabab

How can I be like Salman al-Farisi
To be hungry and eager for truth.

How can I be like Abu Dzar.
To know the truth and to not hesitate in upholding it.

How can I be like Umar.
To know the truth and to not be scared in claiming to believe in it.

How can I be Abu Bakar.
To be as loyal as a believer can be.

My time of youth will be questioned.
I cannot waste it on trivial things.
Be responsible.
Dare to dream.
Boleh boleh boleh
Jadi As-shabab yang responsible and penuh ilmu dan himmah, please!

You're not a child anymore.

Pencari makna hidup,
Kering rehat mengatur budi
Apa benar ikhlas dimaktub
Atau dicampak lempar tak sudi?

Bila sendi laju melincir
Tak sempat karat hinggap mengarat,
Otak ligat, semangat mundar mandir,
Mana yang sempat, tercapai sipi
Mana yang tidak, terbiar sepi

Kasihan bukan pada si induk
Sebab si induk kononnya mahu
Sedih tidak pada sang diri
Sebab sang diri kisah nya sudi
Namun Si induk tak hidup seorang,
Sang diri tak tinggal sendiri,
Bila satu hati dihampiri,
Satu hati tertinggal tepi
Bila satu jiwa diberi erti
Satu jiwa menanti-nanti

Kamu dapat satu
Kamu hilang satu
Kamu mahu satu,
Kamu perlu lepaskan satu

Apakah Dia redha,
Aku tak tahu.
Aku cuma tahu untuk mahu.

Taqwa dan Cinta

Most of the times, you feel sinful when someone saw the wrongs you have done.
Many times, you feel guilty when you have wronged another individuals.

How often do you think and reflect about the wrongs you have done to Allah? Allah al-Malik has set "Kawasan Larangan" i.e things which are forbidden for you to approach or to do. How often have you traversed that area and not feeling guilty as no human being is watching.

Itulah,
Kurang sangat taqwa dalam diri.
Kurang sangat rasa bersalah pada Allah.
Kurang sangat hati-hati dengan "perasaan" Allah.
Perasaan manusia kau jaga sangat.

Taqwa tu Nana, kena dilatih.

Insya Allah taqwa membina cinta.
Or the other way round.

You ain't fetus!

Fetuses spend approximately 30 per cent of their time asleep in mommy's tummy.
To those who sleep much, kindly be reminded that you're not a fetus anymore.
You may have forgotten, but you have left your mommy's tummy.

I disagree that we need 7-8 hours of sleep in a day. That's a quarter of your day. If you spend every single day of life doing that, you will be spending quarter of life sleeping :O

Islam and Muslims in Japan -Part 1

Fortress

The road to mardhatillah is, by default, full of trials.
It is so crucial to know this as this will shape our expectation at the beginning and throughout the journey.

If we think that this is going to be an easy journey,
we shall meet trials and tribulations by surprise,
and we may end up feeling tired and disappointed.

Indeed, siratul mustaqim is a road filled with tests.
Know this, get ready, be persevere, and ask for strength and help from Allah.

When Utbah bin Rabaah was sent to Rasulullah on behalf of the Quraisy disbelievers, he read out few offers to Rasulullah.

We’ll raise our swords against you. But we don’t want to get that point, so we have another offer for you. We’ve gathered up enough wealth from all the wealthy people from Quraysh; we’ve created a fund to make you the wealthiest man in Makkah. All we need is for you to quit this foolishness. We’ll even marry you to 10 of the most beautiful women in Makkah.”

Rasulullah rejected all the offers.

Rasulullah was then approached again by the Quraisy who then suggested for faith compromise (yearly alternate between their tradition and that of Rasulullah's teaching),following which ayah in surah Al-Kafirun was revealed.

These two incidences teach me two things.

One, in consolidating Islam in one self or a society, we need to control our own personal desires or nafs.

Two, we should know what we really want thus what we can't afford to compromise.

Can you not see, Nana? The battle should start within your own self. Build your own fortress. Be strong from within.

Alaska

That moment when you feel like you know nothing about life,
And you want to disappear and flee to Alaska.

Gahh.
Nana.
You are really into Chris McCandless, aren't you?

Anyhow, his final message is so strong to me. It's like a sharp life plot turning message.

Happiness is only real when it is shared.

Powerful.

Into the Wild

"What are you running from?"

"I can ask you the same question, you know. Except that I already knew the answer.
The core of a man's spirit is the new experience. You should make radical changes to your life"

*****

"I'll miss you too Frenz. But you're wrong if you think that the joy of life comes principally from human's relationship. God places it all around us, it's in everything and anything that we can experience. People just need to change the way they look at those things."

"When you forgive you love, and when you love, God lights shine on you"

Good deeds

“The good deeds that will reach a believer after his death are: knowledge which he learned and then spread; a righteous child whom he leaves behind; a copy of the Qur’an that he leaves as a legacy; a mosque that he built; a house that he built for wayfarers; a canal that he dug; or charity that he gave during his lifetime when he was in good health. These deeds will reach him after his death.” [Ibn Majah]
The Prophet ﷺ also said, “Whoever gives charity and that is the last of his deeds will enter Paradise.” [Ahmad]

Alhamdulillah.
I'm now in Obstetric and Gynaecology (O&G) block.
Hee, teringat pula sembang Whatsapp dengan kawan sekolah,
pernah cakap dekat kawan yang waktu tu, saya belum block "O&G",
and they asked me back,
O&G tu apa, Oil and Gas ke?
:)

Melihat wajah ibu mengandung seakan melihat satu harapan
A symbol of hope,
Cause they are in fact, being hopeful, that their pregnancy would turn up well.
Namun,
Most of them choose to be hopeful.
Rather than being preoccupied with endless worries.

Mereka cuba yang terbaik,
ikut suggestion doctor,
kawal diri dalam pemakanan
rancang nama,
Indah bukan?

Nah, hidup ini juga penuh risiko dong.
Risks are always there.
Always there.
Tapi hidup ini juga satu harapan.
kita cuba buat apa Tuhan suruh semampu boleh
Allah itu Maha Pemurah Maha Penyayang,
Dia paling pro dalam bab menghargai.

Tadi terbaca daripada blog azie kitchen tentang sifat Allah al-Qahhar yakni Allah Maha Memaksa.
Al-Qahhar, the most supreme, the one overtaking something.

kalau benar kami usaha.

Ya Allah Ya Qahhar,
Apalah yang kami gusarkan,
kalau benar kami cuba.

Sekejap je lagi hidup ni,
Teruskan usaha,
Nanti Allah tolong paksa ;)

Cantiknya sifat ini,
Allah meletakkan kemanisan iman buat hambaNya yang berusaha.

Quoting this article:

Al-Qahhar effects His will with regard to His creatures, whether they like it or not, whether they are willing or unwilling. He has subdued the souls of the worshippers by instilling in the hearts the fear of His retribution, and the hearts of those who are endowed with knowledge with the Might of nearness to Him, and the souls of those who love Him by unveiling the truth about Him to them.

He who repeats this Name will control his worldly desires. He will gain spiritual contentment and inner peace. The repetition of this Name also protects one from doing evil.

Ha, apa lagi! Boleh seru nama Al-Qahhar dalam doa :)
