wanna try something?

we are Muslims. and our main (supposed to be) references in life should be none other but Quran and Sunna. one of the way to indulge yourself into the love and pleasure of reading Quran is by adopting the feeling that the verses in Al-Quran is referring and specifically for u.
now, from your date of birth (DD,MM) u can search for the verses for u insyaAllah. lets say mine is on 22nd August . the month is 8th . and the date is 22nd. so i should be searching for the 8th surah in quran and the 22nd verse of the surah.
trust me, try this and insyaallah u will shock to find that the meaning of the verse is highly dedicated to u. i learned this from my naqibah :)

what comes around goes around. and our life does if we didnt jump out of the circle

p.ali is resting at the verandah with his wife when  he sees p.hamid walking past his house. this is how the conversation goes:

p.ali.: salam. where are u going?
p.hamid: im going to fish
p.ali: why do u want to fish?
p.hamid: so that my family and i can eat.
p.ali: why do u want eat?
p.hamid: so that i can have energy, live, and catch more fish tomorrow.
p.ali: why do u want to catch more fish?
p.hamid: so that i can sell them, and get money to buy bigger boat.

p.ali: why do u want to buy larger boat?
p.hamid: so that i can get more harvest
p.ali: why do want to get more harvest?
p.hamid: so that i can buy a big "boat with pukat tunda"
p.ali: why do want to get a big boat with pukat tunda?
p.hamid: so that i can get bigger and bigger harvest.
p.ali: why do you have to get bigger and bigger harvest?
p.hamid: so that i can buy a very big engine boat.
p.ali: why?
p.hamid: so that i can catch fish more easily and that have better and much better harvest.
p.ali: why are u doing all this?
p.hamid: so that i get rich and that, when i get older, i can rest with my wife at home.
p.ali: rest with your wife? is that exactly the thing im doing NOW?

okay, maybe the conversation is kinda stupid to occur in real life that i just cant stop imagining that if im p.hamid, i would totally pissed off and leave the scene rather than answering stupid p.ali's questions that only waste my time. but i got the points in there. if theres someone as "innocent" and (i should say an avid inquirer) as p.ali who ask on what our life mission is and why this and why that, we just might not be able to answer. ask yourself your mission and ask why. more than often, we tend to set life goals to limitedly world goals. lets say that your life goal is to be a specialist. we know generally that ones at the age of 35 can already hold the title of a specialist. so, does that mean that after 35, u have already succeeded in life that u dont have to live anymore (commit suicide maybe.aha)??

look at p.hamid and p.ali. P.hamid works hard for something that P.ali is experiencing NOW. p.hamid has set a worldly life goal that will lead him to nowhere. and..we are JUST the same.

if we dont set our life goal exclusively for Allah, then we'll find that our life is just a circle , we work hard just to get to the point where we began with. on the other hand, if we dedicate our life to ALLAH and prepare for hereafter, we'll get the most valuable harvest.

if u want the WORLD, u'll only be able to get half of it,
but if u want the WORLD & THE HEREAFTER, u'll get both :)

together we pray for Hidayah from ALLAH
p/s: i learned alot from Beyond The Norm Programme . alhamdulillah
