Legasi

Kadang senyap dan ghaib itu tenang,
senyap takkan makin sayup
ghaib takkan makin hilang.

mungkin itu impi ibu Isa,

dari mencipta racun legasi,
biar hilang tanpa kesan.
tapi Tuhan tak kasi?
disuruh goncang pohon ihsan.

kalau hilang tanpa kesan,

bukan tiada benci sang insan?
kalau dari awal tiada endah,
bukan tiada mengalun gundah?

tapi prinsip hidup,

bukan untuk lari
bukan untuk hilang.

prinsip hidup, kawan,

untuk kau belajar sudi,
untuk kau harap lagi.

Allah is always there for you.

Never lose hope! :)

Left Leicester at 3am in the morning and watched sunrise at the beach in Skegness today.

Glad to see you back, Mr Ocean.
Last time we met in Brighton, I believe?
But too many people spoiled the view back then ey ?
How do you feel seeing the sun rise and set across your horizon every day?
And how do you feel meeting me at dawn today?

:)

Duterte

I'm finding Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte a very interesting figure.

Bold.
Unstoppable.

I think he'll leave big legacy.

Diabetic rangers

Do you know what made my day in the clinic?

When you see a small polite 5-year old child who is so strong and matured, so well adapted to his diabetes type 1 treatment, i.e daily insulin injection and daily sugar checking, yet level of sugar still slightly unsatisfactory. When doctor gave a certain level of HbA1c for him to achieve, he and his mum looked at each other, and mum said
"We have done this before, haven't we? We can do this!"

They had fists bump and determined to make it a team's goal.
BLESS YOU!

By the way, you said glucose finger prick and imagined it as easy. Try imagine having to do it on your fingers at least 3 times a day every single day for glucose monitoring. Kudos to all diabetic type 1 sweeties out there.

You guys are my power rangers.

Scars

"The marks human leave are too often scars"

Quoted

Well done

That day when you actually managed to make yourself sit down for few hours and revise. And you go to the shop on your way back home. Look at ferero rocher, look at the price. And you can tell yourself, "I deserve this."

Well done Nana.
Akhirnya.

Wait

There are some things worth the wait.

Impression

I truly believe that others' impression towards us are part of His delicate arrangement. Pernah jumpa tak anyone yang depan dia you always happen to dress smartly or say the right thing or crack the right joke, give the wisest opinion or do whatever that fishes good impression. The opposite happens too.

Ketahuilah kelemahan kita belum hilang,
Cuma Allah yang Maha Baik tolong sorokkan.

Kalau buruk kita tersingkap buka,

Quran

Allah's Messenger was already a human right activist [research Hilf ul Fudul - the Pact of Benefit].
This is proven through the statement of Khadija, who said to him; you help the orphan, oppressed, needy etc.
Allah's Messenger would wish that he could get rid of humanity's problems, because no matter how much he tried to support the oppressed - the corruption in society only increased.
So Allah gave him a message which would provide a perfect guidance as a connection between Allah and His slave, and the perfect guidance between man and society.
Rasulullah s.a.w had hardly any political power because he was an orphan, and his own uncles were his worst opponents, so even his powerful tribe could not support his message. All he was in the sight of people is that he is an honest businessman. So Allah tells him; Read with the Name of your Master. So the people know that you are not saying they are your own words.

Listen

I think I've just learned one of the biggest lessons in my life.

When someone dear to you tell you their problem, most of the time they don't need you to tell them the solutions.
They just need you to listen and care.

I'm sorry. I do care, but I showed it wrongly.

Lincoln has once said "time is a great thickener of things"

She said "it's a thinner of things too"

True, it thickens and it thins.
What exactly being done upon is a scary thing to think of.

Michelle

Setting: Paediatric urology clinic.

Dr G: Basically mum, Michelle needs to go to toilet every 2-3 hours. It is normal for kids of his age to refrain from going to the toilet either because they are lazy or they are busy doing something else, hence ends up wetting himself.

Michelle: But. But. In my class, doctor, there are only 4 toilets. And one even got an X on the door. X means no one gets to go in.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Dr G: Make sure he drinks regularly during the day. Just pour him water in the glass during dinner and make sure he finishes it. And then no more drinking after dinner before bed.

Michelle: I don't drink in glasses. I normally drink from a bottle.

Dr G: Okay, honey, doesn't matter. You can drink from your bottle okay.

Michelle: (thinking hard look) awwh, but I've actually lost my bottle.

Mum: I've actually found it, don't worry.

Michelle: (muka bahagia) oooohhh, you've found it! Where did you find it?

Eeyy. Michelle, why you so cute.

Stick

It is so easy to forget and to lose your own principles.
Be cautious. And if you ever slipped, never think that there is no chance of standing up and be bold again for what you once hold on to. If you ever deviate, never think that there is no turning back.

Stick to your own principles.
And above all, stick to what Allah pleases with.
Stick. It's worth it.

The journey to God begins with the 'self':
we have to work on ourselves, our gaze, our desires, and our intentions.

We lose ourselves to temptations so easily.
But we too have the potential to be stronger and stricter with our own self.

And
Make doa.
Because
La hawla wala quwwata illa billah

"Keep your head up and stay curious"

"I love you very dearly"

"Self belief that Allah will help no matter what"

Of the beautiful circle, with beautiful people.
Of the heartwarming advices that strengthen.

Thank you Allah for sending me these people.

Just how

How do you become confident without being cocky?
And humble without being rocky?
