"Acute Hypervitaminosis A:

Ingestion of polar bear liver.

Anyhow, I'm reading on hypervitamosis at the moment. Hyper means excessive.
Hypervitamosis= Too much vitamin
Too much vitamins, although rare, do occur. This is especially related to fat-soluble vitamins i.e Vitamin A, D, E, K. Fat-soluble means they are not excreted and are stored instead. So, if we're giving patients nutrition, these ADEK vitamins levels should be monitored to avoid overdose.
A simple take home message:
Vitamin A and E are best obtained through our diets, rather than through supplements especially in well-nourished society. The supplements can even increase mortality!
On the other hand, vitamin C supplements, as far as researches have shown, is beneficial in the sense that it can reduce the duration of colds.
C for ceasing Hachoooom.
