wats in there... rumah rakit kedaik

name me what the nature can give for a vacation, and we had that there. . .

my dad is a kaki pancing. so kaki one dat i tell u he goes fishing almost every month if not every 2 weeks (we even got a special room at home for all his fishing utensils). and one of the places that he usually chooses to go fishing ( 3 days at least) is Kedaik in Muadzam Shah. he has a rumah rakit there. we always wonder of what he got inside that owing to the fact that it never fails to attract him to spend his time there again and again.. .ya lah, until he upah an orang asli to build dat rumah rakit for him. and our wonderment ended when we brought us there for a night stay there last saturday.

splendid! awesome! wonderful! so calm! so greeeeeen! i loike!!

the journey was a 300++km journey from Bukit Beruntung. upon reaching there, we met my dad's friend , an orang asli there.. my dad gave him a buah tangan (satay! ). then my dad parked the Naza Ria (Naza Ria bawak masuk hutan tuuh) in a clearer spot. then, we got to bring all our many stuff on boat to go to my dad's rumah rakit. it feels good to be in a boat without a safety jacket and my dad rowing it. there u go, we reached the rumah rakit...it was a small rumah rakit. made of wood, without walls, with some pangkin(s) (2 for putting our stuff and 1 large one for sleeping spot), and one toilet..so simple as that but so awesome lar guys... just imagine if your house is exactly floating (ada pelampung di bawah rumah!) on the river with some 2 or 3 rumah rakit several metres away perfecting a neighborhood. at one time, u could estimate that the nearest house is 10 metres away, then as u look again later, it would be nearer.. ya lar, 2 floating house lar kann...

it's so natural to sleep at spot where u could see transparent view of the sky and river water.
it's so cool to have the fresh chill breeze blowing right past your skin
it's so fun having to let your feet down into the river water with small fishes swimming aroung your toes (FEET FISH SPA!!)
it's so exciting having to go here and there by boat, not rowed by any stranger, but your own dad and bro! (without safety jacket..haha)
it's so "asli" to wash the cooking utensils using the river water
it's so new-cum-scarry experience to bath in the river where it's not tourist-spot-waterfall area but a river spot where any creature could be there :) huhu..
