Fortress

The road to mardhatillah is, by default, full of trials.
It is so crucial to know this as this will shape our expectation at the beginning and throughout the journey.

If we think that this is going to be an easy journey, 
we shall meet trials and tribulations by surprise, 
and we may end up feeling tired and disappointed.

Indeed, siratul mustaqim is a road filled with tests. 
Know this, get ready, be persevere, and ask for strength and help from Allah.

When Utbah bin Rabaah was sent to Rasulullah on behalf of the Quraisy disbelievers, he read out few offers to Rasulullah.

We’ll raise our swords against you. But we don’t want to get that point, so we have another offer for you. We’ve gathered up enough wealth from all the wealthy people from Quraysh; we’ve created a fund to make you the wealthiest man in Makkah. All we need is for you to quit this foolishness. We’ll even marry you to 10 of the most beautiful women in Makkah.”

Rasulullah rejected all the offers.

Rasulullah was then approached again by the Quraisy who then suggested for faith compromise (yearly alternate between their tradition and that of Rasulullah's teaching),following which ayah in surah Al-Kafirun was revealed.

These two incidences teach me two things.

One, in consolidating Islam in one self or a society, we need to control our own personal desires or nafs.

Two, we should know what we really want thus what we can't afford to compromise.


Can you not see, Nana? The battle should start within your own self. Build your own fortress. Be strong from within.

Anyhow, his final message is so strong to me. It's like a sharp life plot turning message.

Good deeds

“The good deeds that will reach a believer after his death are: knowledge which he learned and then spread; a righteous child whom he leaves behind; a copy of the Qur’an that he leaves as a legacy; a mosque that he built; a house that he built for wayfarers; a canal that he dug; or charity that he gave during his lifetime when he was in good health. These deeds will reach him after his death.” [Ibn Majah]

The Prophet ﷺ also said, “Whoever gives charity and that is the last of his deeds will enter Paradise.” [Ahmad]

Sesungguhnya harta yang menjadi milik kita adalah harta yang kita manfaatkan dan infakkan.

Sadakah tidak akan mengurangi harta.

Barangsiapa yang ingin dimurahkan rezeki (karunia di dunia dan akhirat) dan dipanjangkan umur, maka hendaklah dia menyambungkan silaturrahim.

Ya Allah Ya Qahhar

Alhamdulillah.
I'm now in Obstetric and Gynaecology (O&G) block.
Hee, teringat pula sembang Whatsapp dengan kawan sekolah, 
pernah cakap dekat kawan yang waktu tu, saya belum block "O&G",
and they asked me back,
O&G tu apa, Oil and Gas ke?
:) 

Melihat wajah ibu mengandung seakan melihat satu harapan
A symbol of hope,
Cause they are in fact, being hopeful, that their pregnancy would turn up well.
Walaupun risiko itu sentiasa ada untuk sesuatu yang tak diingini berlaku (naudzubillah)
Walaupun mereka perlu berhati-hati dalam pemakanan, aktiviti dan sebagainya,
Namun,
Most of them choose to be hopeful.
Rather than being preoccupied with endless worries.

Mereka cuba yang terbaik,
ikut suggestion doctor,
kawal diri dalam pemakanan
rancang nama, 
booking theatre untuk delivery,
ceritakan pada anak-anak lain tentang bakal adik yang akan lahir.
Indah bukan?

Nah, hidup ini juga penuh risiko dong.
Risks are always there.
Always there.
Tapi hidup ini juga satu harapan.
kita cuba buat apa Tuhan suruh semampu boleh
Allah itu Maha Pemurah Maha Penyayang,
Dia paling pro dalam bab menghargai.

Tadi terbaca daripada blog azie kitchen tentang sifat Allah al-Qahhar yakni Allah Maha Memaksa.

Al-Qahhar, the most supreme, the one overtaking something.

Bunyi macam negatif kan kalau kita letak sifat tu pada seorang manusia?
Tapi sifat memaksa ni tak terhad pada Allah menghukum sesiapa yang mengkhianati perintahnya. Ya, ya. itu benar, Allah juga menghukum. Tapi tak cukup dengan itu, Allah juga bersifat memaksa dalam memastikan ketetapan rezeki yang Dia aturkan sampai kepada kita, Allah juga bersifat memaksa dalam memastikan balasan syurga buat hambaNya yang mujahadah dalam bertakwa, Tiada sesiapa boleh menghalang kalau Allah mahukan kebaikan atau petunjuk pada seseorang. Maka pengharapan kita perlu sangat-sangat menghala pada Dia.

Ya Allah Ya Qahhar,
Apalah yang kami risaukan,
kalau benar kami usaha.

Ya Allah Ya Qahhar,
Apalah yang kami gusarkan,
kalau benar kami cuba.

Sekejap je lagi hidup ni,
Teruskan usaha,
Nanti Allah tolong paksa ;)

Cantiknya sifat ini,
Allah meletakkan kemanisan iman buat hambaNya yang berusaha.

Al-Qahhar effects His will with regard to His creatures, whether they like it or not, whether they are willing or unwilling. He has subdued the souls of the worshippers by instilling in the hearts the fear of His retribution, and the hearts of those who are endowed with knowledge with the Might of nearness to Him, and the souls of those who love Him by unveiling the truth about Him to them. 

He who repeats this Name will control his worldly desires. He will gain spiritual contentment and inner peace. The repetition of this Name also protects one from doing evil.

sabar, kukuh walaupun dipijak2
tempat tumbuhnya kehidupan
tanah menyemai

sifat tanah,
boleh dibentuk.
boleh jadi baik, boleh jadi buruk
